Dawn M. Barrios
Dawn’s illustrious career spanned decades. She was truly a lawyer’s lawyer, always working to better both her clients’ lives and the profession. What she loved most was the people she met along the path of her legal journey.
After clerking for the Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court, she began her career as a litigator. But, as she was skilled in the courtroom, she strove to be even more kind and professional. Two highlights of her career were being awarded professionalism awards by both the New Orleans Bar Association and the EDLA Federal Bar Association.
Over a decade ago, Dawn was asked to speak at a conference with many young lawyers. Unsure of what to say, she penned a letter to just-graduated-from-law-school self with some words of wisdom. She would love if you would read it: Dawn’s letter.

Zachary L. Wool
Zachary loves litigation. He began his career defending large corporations
in New York City, and for the last decade he has been helping those injured by other people’s wrongdoing. He is as comfortable getting in the weeds of ESI during discovery as he is handling expert reports or standing in front of a jury.
Zachary uses a true team approach while preparing a case for trial, strategically thinking of how best to present a case to the jury. He has had the good fortune to lecture other lawyers across the country on his litigation techniques. Additionally, he has helped educate federal judges on the in’s and out’s of e-discovery, a newly burgeoning field.
