Dawn M. Barrios and Zachary L. Wool are thrilled to continue the next chapter of their legal practices with their new venture, Barrios Wool LLC.

Dawn M. Barrios graduated from Tulane University School of Law and began practicing law in 1978 with a clerkship for the Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court. She was one of the first lawyers working at Cleveland, Barrios, Kingsdorf & Casteix before she founded Barrios, Kingsdorf & Casteix in 1995.

Throughout her decades of practicing law in New Orleans, Ms. Barrios has earned the respect of clients, lawyers, and judges across the country. She has focused her practice on complex litigation, mass torts, and class actions over the last 15 years, having been appointed to leadership roles in some of the country’s largest and most important litigations.

In 2010, Zachary L. Wool joined her law firm after leaving large and well-respected law firms that focused on defending corporations. Within a few years, his practice took off, and he now focuses on counseling clients in high-stakes litigation matters. Mr. Wool is equally comfortable working in the weeds on e-discovery as he is cross examining an expert witness in front of a jury.

Ms. Barrios and Mr. Wool formed their new firm to focus solely on high-stakes litigation. They are very selective in the cases that they take, so that they can devote the time necessary to prosecute those cases for their clients. Both consider themselves lawyers’ lawyers, and they take pride on the fact that most of their clients come to them through recommendations of other lawyers.
